MaryEllen from Sicilian odyssey drove all the way from her home to meet up with us yesterday. This is the second time I have met face to face with a person, from an Internet friendship. She is a top notch lady and very easy to get in step with.We toured the town and got to witness a bride walking with her family to the local church to get married. I got to show her a bit of this town while walking the main drag and the beach road. It was a relaxing visit. For me the conversation was my favorite part. Learning about her and her life here in Sicily and the other places she has lived.
After lunch we headed to the sports clothing outlet, Spaccio. It was a good day to go. All the bin items were under €30. MaryEllen good naturedly held up the Palermo sweatshirt. I wanted Davide to see this item. Sorry I did not purchase this for him....it costs €100. We will do this again.

How nice to meet up with a fellow blogger. I have met up with one, a young man from Scicli and he took me to see the Easter "Gioia" there. If you ever feel like a trip to Modica, I'd be happy to show you around.
