DOG HOUSE

Both Andy and I spent Sunday morning in the doghouse. Our dog house does not *house* a dog but it looks like it should. When we had our kitchen built we had a room built under the stairs. When the builder measured for the door to put into the opening he was a little off. He installed the door and compensated for the incorrect measurements with louvers. Louvers are a good idea for this space but would have been better adapted to the door itself. Hence we call this space *the dog house*.

It was time to give it a good cleaning and find treasures in there we may have forgotten about. Many of you may recall our pasta stash well here is another one for you to chuckle about. Got to buy when things are on sale and you never know when you might need things. I figure there are close to 100 rolls here. This might last well into 2008.

Getting in and out of the dog house has its hazards. This is one time where being short has advantages.

hello Sharon
nice to meet you. i spent a lot of time in Sicily at Regaleali, the wine estate and even thought of buying a ruin in Savoca.
In spite of all the problems Sicily still is the favorite part of Italy for me.

Think you could put some wheels on the adjoining chair and wheel yourself into the Doghouse. Would this make life easier?L,C-co

I'm guessing 782 rolls -- am I too high on this one as well? Oh well.

The doghouse can be hell, but if you are with your beloved, it isn't so bad.

Hehe, anonymous has a good idea about the chair :) It does look like "the door has it's hazards"!! It's nice to have a little corner of the house to store things :)
